Energy Audit Energy Audits are only conducted for Commercial or Industrial settings. We would be happy to discuss your Residential needs. STEP 1: THE CONSULTATION An energy audit is often the first step in making your business more efficient, saving money and going “green”. Our trained personnel will review your electrical bills and determine your facilities reactive loads (machinery), then recommend an audit if warranted. A nominal fee is required for an audit; your sales person will discuss in advance these charges. STEP 2: THE ENERGY AUDIT Our trained licensed electricians equipped with the patented KVAR® apparatus will test your circuits and motors to determine the optimal power factor correction for your facility. We will also correctly locate the best locations to install the capacitors in your electrical system. STEP 3: YOUR PROPOSAL Trained personnel analyze the data and a comprehensive written proposal is prepared. It includes a precise analysis of your current power factor readings, guaranteed power correction, estimated savings, and estimated return on investment time line. STEP 4: ANALYSING YOUR DATA The data is explained to you clearly by your agent. He will demonstrate the savings we can provide for you by installing our custom product. Although installing all of the recommended products will optimize your energy consumption, we realize the cost may not always be feasible at one time. We do offer financing, however the aduit will indicate the least efficient motors and by correcting these first you can still realize a savings. The other motors can be optimized when you are ready. Your agent will help you with this decision. A deposit of half the total cost will be required prior to ordering and full payment day of install. The results of the test will be sent to our KVAR® manufacturer who will build the units specifically for your facilities. STEP 5: INSTALLATION You will decide with your sales agent the best time for one of our licensed electricians to install your units. A qualified electrician must perform all work.
